As an interior architect she has always been enthralled and inspired by how art shapes people's perspectives. How it makes the viewer feel and move through the space.
Jessica uses pastels and neutral colors as well as curved brush strokes to attain a sense of calmness and fluidity. However, she introduces vertical lines as a structural elements to balance the pieces. She describes it as 'columns in architectural plans'.
Using the sense of touch, the manipulation of the materials with her hands as well as using different brushes has always been key to her work.
